Fried Chicken Can Bring Even a Fragmented Family Together
Ogilvy & Mather Johannesburg and Kim Geldenhuys Presents the Power of KFC

Ogilvy & Mather Johannesburg turns fast-food advertising into something a little more tender, with this sweet spot for KFC in South Africa. Directed by Egg Films' Kim Geldenhuys, the spot features a family with divorced, or separated parents. The dad picks up his son from his mom's house for a day out -- a day that is grey and overcast, full of non-committal shrugs from his teenage son, whose only contribution to the conversation comes at the end, when he orders a family meal from a KFC drive through. It's "The Parent Trap," just with fried chicken.
