No one will ever be as unconditionally committed as a rescue animal

Pets play multiple roles in the lives of their owners in a Valentine’s Day-themed campaign for the Shelter Pet Project. The star-studded series features actor Olivia Munn with her dogs Frankie and Chance, who act as “stylists” and “therapists” in the way that many people talk to their pets like people.
Actor Rachel Bloom and her dog Wiley, as well as Tennessee Titans cornerback Logan Ryan and his dogs Leo and Julius headline their own spots, speaking about the deep relationships they’ve developed with friends they found at the animal shelter.
The “#AdoptPureLove” campaign from J. Walter Thompson New York also details the friendship between Lucky the cat and Ahnya, a young girl with Asperger’s syndrome. Navy veteran Brian is inseparable from his dog Tommy and Renee stays close to her dog Turtle. TV and radio spots are running now, along with print, out-of-home and digital placements. Prospective pet owners can also visit TheShelterPetProject.org to search for animals by location.
