Hearst's Elle magazine enters the world of social commerce with the launch of its shoppable Spring Trend Guide on Facebook. The online guide features some of the season's most exciting looks, which Facebook users can either support with next-gen Like button action in the form of "Love" or "Want," but can also buy the looks directly by clicking an "Own" button, which will take them directly to Elle product partners' online stores. When users interact with the guide, Elle shares a "Shoppable Story" on the Facebook fan's timeline, newsfeed or ticker.

Hearst Digital Media teamed with tech partner 8thBridge to create the shoppable social platform.
