For Comedy Central's LatAm launch, Wieden & Kennedy and Hungry Man director Bryan Buckley introduce you to the Siesta World Cup, a competition that because of its rigorous and taxing demands, only Latinos have ever won.
The spot is a tongue-in-cheek look at how non-serious Latinos really are, and their ability to make fun of themselves using their natural comic talent. It's a show within a spot -- the mini-film, shot documentary style, could probably be a great addition to the comedy channel's line up. "The idea is simple: make TV viewers laugh and remind them how good it feels to watch Comedy Central shows, which are 100% humor," said Guillermo Vega, ECD at W+K Sao Paulo.
