David Soul Plays A Crooning Coach Driver In UK Ad for National Express

This spot for UK coach company National Express is getting a lot of love on UK social media -- perhaps because it features "Starsky and Hutch" star David Soul as a coach driver who sings along to his 70s hit "Silver Lady" as he drives, bringing smiles to the faces of his passengers. From his salute to a passing eagle to his serenading a goldfish in a bowl, his performance is funny and utterly charming -- and, in an era when taking a coach has arguably become a tedious, low budget way to make a long journey, perhaps recaptures some of the romance of the 70s when the open road and the Greyhound was the way to travel.
