Facebook apps that use your profile information to personalize an "experience" are nothing new, but this newest campaign, out of Tribal DDB San Francisco for CHPA Partnership for a Drug Free America is especially frightening -- and effective.
Abuse of cough syrup is on the rise, with teens listing "Robotripping" as one of their Facebook interests. The agency sought to show teens what happens when you Robotrip with SipItUp, an app that scrapes Facebook info to deliver a personalized Robotrip experience. Here you can see a demo version, and go to the site to try it yourself. Warning: There's a lot of vomit involved.
