Candy Brand 'Preserves' Unique Bond Between Mom and Child

While brands have tended toward the touchy-feely when honoring moms for Mother's Day, Skittles delivers its special brand of skewed sentiment ahead of the holiday. A new ad that debuted on the candy brand's YouTube channel shows the special bond between a mother and her adult son. As she chows down on the candy, he's able to miraculously taste the flavor of the piece she's chewing on -- because post-birth, it seems, the cord was never cut.

The spot hits a weirdness scale to rival some of the candy's classics, including this one starring another unusual body part, and this, featuring a pissed-off pinata man.
