A couple gets the wrong idea when their hosts ask if they want to "sling" with them, in the first new work for Sling TV from The Martin Agency, which it has just named as agency of record.

In the launch spot, the guests look a little weirded out when their friends admit to being "Slingers" and ask if they want to try slinging too, recommending it for its "freedom" and "options" without "all the commitments."

Thankfully, all is made clear when they sit down to watch TV. The female guest looks relieved -- but wait, her husband still has the wrong end of the stick. It's pretty funny, in a sitcom kind of way.

The spot was directed by Steve Miller via Radical Media, and is part of a wider campaign that includes digital, mobile, social, out-of-home and new media platforms, all positioning Sling TV as the most flexible live streaming option on the market.
