We're still loving Goodby Silverstein's "Do You Know What Your Marketing Is Doing?" campaign for Adobe, so another new execution in this clever and funny series is a welcome thing. This one takes aim at mobile advertising for the first time, with a scenario where two guys are on a hike, and one gets bitten by a deadly snake.
His concerned buddy immediately suggests using his phone to search on a medical website for how to deal with a snakebite, which is what we'd all do nowadays, isn't it? Only, there are so many mobile ads popping up, making it impossible for him to look at the page he actually wants -- first he has to sign up for a newsletter, download an app, and so on. Given the black humor of some of the previous spots, you might be able to take a guess at what's going to happen, but it's executed in a totally hilarious way.
