With the teen market in mind, HP is moving beyond its Hands campaign with something a bit sinisteror stirringdepending on the clientele. Thanks to the help of Firstborn, HP and agency McCann Worldgroup launched a Flash 9-intensive website that features a hallucinatory vortex that introduces several HP products ranging from desktop to laptop.
Along with TV, print and viral efforts, Firstborn integrated HP-styled fonts from the familiar TV spots along with a roving kaleidoscope to present a site that soothes parents woes as well of those of kids getting back to school. Guided by the mantra that you deserve the best of everything along with wicked-sick computers that kick a whole lotta butt-serious butt, visitors can actually send "mind control" messages to their parents with specific products in the HP line, and of course, reap the benefits of a nice digital purchase.
