The New York Mets and O&M/New York recently pulled a promotional stunt that involved tricking people into thinking their windshields had been smashed. This would not generally put a car owner in a good mood even in Idaho, never mind New York, but each broken-window sticker was accompanied by one of eight letters from a Met apologizing for the damage, each letter written in the style in which the player speaks, according to the agency. "We placed decals and notes on cars throughout Manhattan, Queens and Long Island, as well as on cars in the Shea Stadium parking lot during an actual game," recounts O&M Group CD Joe Johnson.
