Creative shop Party and the Japanese band Sour have had a creatively fertile relationship, yielding innovative music videos like the fan-sourced Hibi no Niero and Mirror. The pair team up once again for Sour's new track "Life is Music," another experimental effort that will use CDs as a phenakistoscope,an old school animation technique onto which frames split by slits are imprinted onto a disc, which when spun and viewed through a mirror, would create the illusion of motion. The idea references the song, which is about the circle of life. Like Sour's previous clips, the budget was limited amd funded through platforms like Kickstarter. This particular effort seeks funding through My Major Project as well as Kickstarter.

Once the music video is made, the CDs used to create the video will be sold as limited edition art pieces.
