Thai Blind Association Creates One Storybook for the Blind and The Fully Sighted
BBDO Proximity Thailand Combines Braille with English

Why should blind kids and sighted kids be separated when it comes to their books? The Thailand Association of the Blind, which promotes equality between the blind and the fully sighted, wanted to break down the barrier that's created when kids learn from different books. Working with BBDO Proximity Thailand, the organization created "The Storybook for All Eyes," developed with a font that combines Braille and the English alphabet to tell its story. Each character is also embossed with a "hidden image" the blind kids could perceive -- so everyone experienced the same world, the same way. See the book here.
