Thai Life insurance has a track record in producing heartwarming tearjerkers of ads (its past efforts include Unsung Hero and Silence of Love.) In its latest spot, dubbed Street Concert, it plays out a tale that's apparently based on a true story: a young boy takes up the guitar, plays it rather badly and gets cyber-bullied by the cool kids in the school band. Until they find out he's busking to raise money for his Mom's cancer treatment. You can guess the rest, but it's still effective. Once again, the work is by Ogilvy & Mather Bangkok -- and since launching two weeks ago, it's already had over 3.5 million YouTube views.
