Toyota's Super Bowl spot for the Prius was a hilarious romp of a car chase centered around four bungling bank robbers who end up (unexpectedly) with a Prius as their getaway vehicle.
The spot, by Saatchi & Saatchi L.A., is packed full of jokes, as the "Prius 4" negotiate a farmers' market and the freeway, their getaway goes viral and the car suddenly becomes cool. But this is also an opportunity to get in references to the car's various attributes including speed, quietness and automatic braking.
Top director Lance Acord of Park Pictures helmed the spot.
