Actor Portrays Another Action-Filled Role
Editor's Pick
Earlier, LG had teased its Super Bowl commercial starring action star Liam Neeson and today, it's finally debuted the full ad ahead of the game. The spot introduces people to a new era of TV with the debut of its LG Signature OLED TV set.
In it, Neeson stars as the Man of the Future who has come to the present day to deliver OLED (organic light-emitted diode) technology. He visits his present-day self, played by his son Micheal Neeson, to bring the OLED experience to the masses.
The spot was produced by Ridley Scott's production company, RSA Films, and directed by Mr. Scott's son, Jake, himself a veteran Super Bowl ad director.
"It's a dynamic short film," Ridley Scott said in a release. "It's about the race to be on the vanguard of innovation and to be able to create tomorrow's technology."
