PayPal Makes Its Super Bowl Debut With Kinetic Ad About 'New Money'
Company Looks To Make People's Lives Easier

With its Super Bowl debut, PayPal is looking to make money more inclusive.
The 45-second spot, "There's a 'New Money' in Town," which will air in the first quarter of the big game, shows how PayPal can make people's lives easier by helping them move and manage money securely and more efficiently.
This is PayPal's first major brand campaign since becoming independent from eBay in July.
"We are in a period of transformation -- how people shop; how merchants sell; how people interact with the financial system; the very nature of money itself is changing," said Dan Schulman, President and CEO of PayPal. "New Money is a celebration about the ways technology can help expand and improve financial participation and financial health for billions of people worldwide. We want to reimagine money -- enabling new ways for people to securely and affordably manage, move and spend their money."
The spot was created by CP&B LA and directed by Nabil, known perhaps best for his music videos but who also previously shot Beats' and R/GA's "The Game Before the Game" short film and the unnerving "Cut the World" short for Antony and the Johnsons.
