Budweiser is highlighting its commitment to grassroots soccer in a three-minute documentary-style film set to take over the half-time ad break of this weekend's FA Cup Final in the U.K.
The film focuses on Sholing FC, a little-known club whose prowess has been held back by by poor facilities and financial challenges. Unbeknownst to the players, Budweiser has donated 100,000 pounds to the club, and the moment when the donation is revealed live in the film is a surprisingly emotional one.
Anomaly London created the ad, and James Willis of Bullion directed. It's part of Budweiser's sponsorship of The FA Cup.
