Grumpy meanies just need to get laid in this hilarious spot for an adult toy retailer

We all come across grumpy, mean people-- the parking attendant who lies in wait to fine you, the government office employee who makes you go to the back of the line, the woman at work who steals your yogurt deliberately.

All of these, and more, feature in a hilarious new spot from U.S. adult toy retailer Adam & Eve (nothing to do with the famous London agency) that reveals that these people would be a whole lot nicer if they just had an orgasm.

The film, created by L.A. agency Party Land and directed by Michael Downing through Biscuit Filmworks, takes the form of a musical number (we can actually imagine this on the Broadway stage) in which we meet a variety of different "grumps" and they gradually reveal how it's sex that's actually lacking in their lives. The lyrics are hilarious, and the performances spot-on.

"There are so many people we easily dismiss as rotten eggs in this world," explains Party Land CEO Matt Heath. "But, the truth is they're probably not hopelessly mean after all. Maybe they just need to have sex? In a world that can use all the love it can generate, it's a beautiful message for a brand like Adam & Eve to champion and put out into the ether."
