A Teacher and a Bride Are Among the Super Fans in Ad Promoting Franchise Gear

Target encapsulates the importance of "Star Wars" to so many fans' lives in a spot promoting its latest range of Star Wars-themed gear, available in stores Sept. 30.

The ad, created by Deutsch and produced by Psyop in the iconic black, white and red Star Wars colors, features a diverse selection of different fans. There's a teacher who uses Star Wars to teach Shakespeare, a Mom whose parenting philosophy is Yoda's famous phrase "Do or do not, there is no try," a bride who walked down the aisle accompanied by Storm Troopers and a girl who was inspired by Princess Leia to "take charge." The spot ends by paying tribute to the "rebel in all of us."
