It’s time for the holidays, and Karen is busy. Maybe a little too busy, because it takes a talking toy elf to calm her nerves. Alternately soothing and snarky, this emerald-bedecked pixie hangs out in the kind of poses that overachieving parents might position an Elf on the Shelf, in a spot for Teleflora from Wonderful Agency, the in-house creative team for the brand's parent The Wonderful Company.

Whether reclining on a hot tray of baked cookies, reading in front of his gingerbread house or hiding among the Advent gifts, the elf doles out therapeutic advice to keep Karen on track.

But is she really holding it together? Are any of us, this time of year? At least the flowers have been handled by a generous mother-in-law.

“The Elf” continues Teleflora’s “Love Out Loud” brand platform, which debuted for Christmas 2017. It is running in 30- and 15-second cuts on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter.
