For Nokias new smartphone E71, generative artist Marius Watz created an app that transforms a text message into animation; the app can be downloaded from Nokia's Beautiful Connections site for free. Users input a short text message, which is then used as the basis for a generative animation. The final image can be sent to others as a multimedia message or saved as wallpaper.
