Nov 01, 2009
This recently launched website asks 30 notable design names two questions: "What single example of design inspires you most?" and "What problem should design solve next?" and invites visitors to chime in with their own opinions. The first installment includes video interviews with Pentagram's Paula Scher, Massimo Vignelli, designer of the iconic 1972 New York City subway map and Gehry Partners' Edwin Chan, among others.
Upcoming videos will include Brian Collins, Debbie Milman, Chip Kidd, Richard Saul Wurman and Joe Duffy.
