Forget comparing your running times with your friends. The World Wide Fund for Nature is letting Russians pit themselves against a tiger running in the wild with its latest campaign. Via a website that links to their running app, participants can go head-to-head in a timed trial with an animal fitted with a GPS tracker. With a tiger running an average of 20 kilometers a day, you'll have to be pretty fit to beat it. Those who don't will automatically make a $5 donation to the charity's Save the Tiger fund. Meanwhile, you can compare your speeds with other runners, and the tiger, on Twitter, using the hashtag #Run4Tiger.

The app was developed by Moscow agency Hungry Boys for WWF for Nature in Russia.
