Team Lab : Tokyo Sky Tree Mural

The amazingly detailed SkyTreeMural was created by Tokyo 'ultra technologists' TeamLab to celebrate the opening of Tokyo's tallest building, the Sky Tree Tower. The digital mural, which can be seen on the first floor of the Tokyo Skytree, is 40mlong and 3m tall and includes 13 monitors embedded in the wall that form a seamless picture. Team Lab says the art work presents Tokyo as 'a mix of reality and fiction, history and future', incorporating the techniques of Ukiyoe and reproducing Edo print methods using the latest digital technology.
