This Travel Commercial Has a Surreally Funny Twist

Clue Is in the Name for Travelzoo

Editor's Pick

This commercial for travel booking brand Travelzoo starts out like a pretty standard spot for the sector, with a woman in a bikini walking smugly along as she thinks about how much money she's saved on her trip compared to the other pool-goers. However, a surreal comic twist (the clue is in the brand name) gives it the stand-out it's likely to need in a market where rivals include the likes of Booking.com. It's the first pan-European campaign for the brand, with media in the U.K. including the new season of "True Detective."

The ad was created by London agency Big Al's Creative Emporium (which specializes in project work done by a group of freelancers) and was directed by Remy Cayuela of Park Village.
