New York production/post/VFX studio Humble presents "Tumbleweed Tango," a heartwarming, Pixar-like tale of two love-struck balloon dogs, who happen to get stuck in a prickly cactus patch. The super-cute short, which was also named Staff Pick at Vimeo, was directed by directing duo hydra.

The short is one of Humble's studio-funded projects which the company has created to let its staff experiment with new approches and creative techniques. In "Tango," the idea was to help them flex character design capabilities and also test drive new rendering software and compositing techniques.

"Tango" screened at New York Shorts Festival and will also be shown in Brooklyn's Animation Block Party.
