’Tis the season for agency holiday cards, and this one immediately caught our eye—U.K. agency Isobel’s staff photo of everyone dressed up as 1970s footballers.

The photo, taken Wealdstone FC’s ground in Ruislip, features a bespoke Isobel team uniform and some very free-flowing hair. (You can buy the jersey at Isobel’s online store.)

There’s a subtle Christmas message of togetherness here, too. As the agency says in press materials, “In a chaotic world, it pays to be United.”

“As an agency we love to dress up and get into character, but this year we also wanted to share a message of unity and togetherness,” said Rob Fletcher, Isobel co-founder and executive creative director. “We hope it will put a smile on people’s faces—but also support a wider message that we are all stronger when united.”

The shoot was handled by Isobel’s in-house production arm, Igor. Isobel has had a football theme going through 2023—launching Isobel Kicks initiative, supporting girls’ football teams and supplying them with uniforms; and brainstorming ways to attract more girls to football through its Summer School work experience partnership program with local schools.
