Iconic British shoe brand Clarks has launched an intricate, colorful interactive experience at clarksunboxed.com, allowing people to explore its history and defining moments. The site, created by BBH London, explores 12 chapters in the brand's 190 year old history, from the original two brothers who founded a business on sheepskin slippers to the jazz shoes of the twenties, from desert boots to the Wallabees beloved of "Breaking Bad"'s Walter White. It includes swathes of archive imagery, sound recordings, and text to immerse the visitor in the heritage of the brand -- and (unlike with some brands' historical timelines) there's plenty of fascinating information in this heritage. Watch BBH's Making Of film to find out more.
