Sometimes, it's better if you don't have a Valentine. Especially if the messages you'd be receiving read like the ones inside these cards, created out of Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand. To support Women's Refuge, an organization that helps abused women, the agency created these disturbing Valentine's Day cards that at first, appear to be a typical holiday greeting, but when opened reveal a darker and more sinister message. The cards have been placed at retailers in Auckland and Wellington and encourage those who find them to text 2026 and make a $5 donation to the cause. See all the cards, and their messages, below.
