French food in Russia is mostly understood as being the following: overpriced, small portions, and frogs. To combat this image, agency Red Pepper launched a direct marketing campaign with a twist. For their client, a french restaurant, the agency sent live frogs to food critics and media VIPs that could be exchanged for a fancy dinner at the restaurant.
