Las Vegas agency DRGM's 2005 "The Men of DRGM" calendar is a classic beefcake parody with a nice ad slant. April, for instance, features a shot of smirkingly complacent senior art director Mike Disbennett and the line, "It doesn't matter what this says, nobody reads copy anyways." As copywriter Brett Endelman, hairy-chested Mr. December, notes, "We recently held a calendar autograph signing at the Las Vegas Gun & Knife Show. Although nobody visited our booth, it felt great to be involved in the community." But why only men? Why not a "Women of DRGM" calendar?
