Verizon goes against Verizon to highlight its performance in the toughest of situations

Spots by The Community lift the lid on what goes on behind the scenes at the telco

A new campaign from Verizon illustrates how the company is constantly testing itself to be prepared for all situations, including holding its own disaster simulation days. One of two new spots created by The Community captures how the company recreates a disaster once a year at a facility in Perry, Georgia, in order to make sure it's ready in case the worst happens.

Another spot, below, shows how Verizon's field engineers constantly test its coverage in all areas of the country, from coastal paths to underground parking lots.

The campaign was produced via Partizan with directors Chris Cannucciari and Thomas Hilland helming the respective spots. Lifting the lid on all the behind-the-scenes activities that go into making the network ready to respond, it makes the point that "Nobody tests us like we test us."  It's a side of what telcos do that, as consumers, we don't normally get to see.
