Airbnb's Global Campaign Celebrates the Wonders of Local Culture

'Views' Takes Would-Be Globe-Trotters to Five Countries Through Eyes of Hosts

Airbnb today unveiled its first-ever global campaign titled "Views," created by its agency of record Pereira & O'Dell and directed by Tool of North America's Alma Har'el.

The 60-second short celebrates the richness of local culture one can experience when booking their travels via the lodging website.

Through the eyes of Airbnb hosts in 16 accommodations around the world, viewers are treated to magnificent views overlooking the Indian Ocean, a houseboat with a porthole peek at the Mediterranean Sea and a Reykjavic, Iceland view of sandy beaches and snow-topped mountains.

From a look into the countryside where live chickens are heard clucking away to fireworks that blaze outside a window in a European city, the campaign aims to show the unique and glorious journey of immersing one's self in another's culture.

The campaign is set to run in the U.S. and 8 countries across Europe and Asia, including the UK, Germany, France, Singapore, Korea, Japan, China, and Brazil and will be translated internationally by TBWA Worldwide.

It will also be placed in several online media platforms including AFAR, YouTube, Buzzfeed and BBC, in addition to Facebook and Twitter. AMC Theaters and Regal Cinemas will also run the commercial, as will airline companies JetBlue and Frontier.
