Like the shoe it's promoting, Dunlop's site for 70-year-old brand Volleys, created by Melbourne agency Marilyn & Sons, is simple, hip and effective.

With a slightly self-deprecating tone and tagline-"Exceptionally Average"--the site not only repurposes the TV spots featuring hand musician Gerry Phillips performing his own unique versions of classic songs like "Pachelbel's Canon", but includes a Volleys "Streets" section to show the brand's evolution from a tennis shoe to an all-purpose pair of kicks that's crossed over to the skater community and more. In the "Streets" section, one can also view fan galleries of their Volleys adoration or upload their own as tracks from bands like American Analog Set and Animal Collective play in the back.
