When Derrick Rose tore his ACL and ended his season, the world must have stopped for Chicago Bulls fans. 180 LA and Adidas feature that shocking moment in an epic global spot shot by Imperial Woodpecker's Stacy Wall.

The commercial, Adidas's "The Return of D Rose" campaign, shows the disbelief and shock, "freezing" the fans in place when Rose got injured. Then, as the player gets back into the game with intense workouts that mark his recovery, the fans come back to life too. The film ends with a triumphant Rose running onto the court, ready to play. Of course, Rose's real recovery is still a long way away: USA Today reports that he won't return until at least early next year, but that doesn't hurt the fast-paced, inspiring narrative of the Adidas work at all. The spot will begin airing next week, in conjunction with the launch of the D Rose collection and basketball shoe on Oct. 4.

The agency shot the commercial in Chicago locales like Lake Street Bridge and the South Side neighborhoods and parks. The film also features the in-game call by TNT's Kevin Harlan, and includes cameos from sport anchor Dan Roan and Rose's brother, Reggie.
