Halls Demonstrates What Happens When You Breathe Better In Quirky New Ads
First Work From W&K Features A Park Ranger And A Biker Who Exhales Polar Bears
Editor's Pick
Wieden + Kennedy's first creative work for Halls since it won the Mondelez cough candy brand globally last May features a couple of quirky scenarios. In the North American work, a park ranger is magically able to do an impressive range of bird calls after taking a Hall's. The spot was directed by Chris Woods through B-Reel.
The European spot (which has just launched in Greece, with an English language version breaking in the UK from February 3rd), is more surreal, with a biker exhaling flying polar bears as an astounded kid watches in a nearby car. It was directed by Ben Gregor.
The work is part of a wider campaign called "Halls Air" which has been tailored for different markets. The North America work focuses on Halls as temporary relief for symptoms of coughs and colds, whereas in Europe Halls is enjoyed more as an invigorating and refreshing candy.
