Japanese agency Party, which (finally) officially opened its Stateside office, debuts its first work out of the N.Y. hub, a new music video for Australian band Cut Copy's "We Are Explorers." Like previous Party efforts, the new video employs the latest tech-driven techniques--in this case 3D printing. Directors Masa Kawamura, Qanta Shimizu, and Aramique Krauthamer 3D printed 3D figurines, which were then used to create a stop motion love story on the streets of L.A. But the tale doesn't end there -- the band and directors have made all the 3D printing data available on BitTorrent and are encouraging fans to print out their own characters to keep the story line going.
