Microsoft Xbox is promoting Forza Motorsport 6 with a nicely designed film taking viewers on a ride through the evolution of racing games from the last 40 years. The film, by Twofifteen McCann, follows the Forza Motorsport 6 cover car, the 2017 Ford GT, through recreations of iconic games: keen gamers might spot references to early black and white arcade game Gran Trak 10, RC Pro-Am, Pole Position, Chase HQ and Ridge Racer. Finally, the car emerges from a tunnel and we see pixels breaking up, before it emerges into the new Forza game. Michael Spiccia of Arts & Sciences directed.
