What Businesses Do NFL Stars Start When They Retire?
Wix.com's Super Bowl Spot Reveals All
Editor's Pick
In its first Super Bowl spot, Wix.com imagines what businesses NFL stars might start online once they retire. Terrell Owens has set up a bakery, while Franco Harris is planning wedding receptions and Brett Favre has started a charcuterie firm, Farve and Carve. The fake businesses actually have real websites set up online, and viral content will include Vine clips and a six-minute cooking segment for Terrell Owens' Humble Pie bakery with celebrity chef Matty Matheson. In the case of the bakery, viewers can even order an actual pie using the phone number in the regional ads. Oh, and watch out for Rex Lee, a.k.a Lloyd from the HBO show "Entourage," playing Favre's agent.
The website firm has pre-released this extended version of the ad, which will run as a 30-second spot in the first quarter. It was created by boutique creative/production studio Committee LA.
