McDonald's is promoting its Saver Menu in the U.K. with a humorous New Year's ad that shows there's more than one way to save money.
The 20-second TV spot from Leo Burnett takes place in a yoga class where all the students are on a classic yoga mat—except one woman whose transition between poses reveals she's actually on a computerized baby playmat. "C is for caterpillar...D is for dog," the mat announces as she moves into a new pose.
"Like getting your money's worth?" asks the voiceover before encouraging viewers to enjoy a 99p Mayo Chicken Burger.
The ad was directed by Freddie Waters via Pulse and versions of it are running on radio, out-of-home and social media as well as TV.
