Metro's Cover Goes Dark After Brazil's World Cup Defeat

Covers of various publications from around the world had much to say about Brazil's loss to Germany in yesterday's World Cup face off, but this one, from Brazil's edtiion of Metro, was perhaps the most powerful, and poetic. The simple shot of the stadium and scoreboard, post-game, instantly conveys the World Cup host's dark mood following the match. Copy in the upper right hand corner of the image translates to "So we don't forget: scoreboard for Brazil x Germany game at Mineirao stadium at 7:17 yesterday."
