Tax Day is upon us. Deductions are now in the hands of a greater power, and everything--from paperclips to electronics--are under the scrutiny of the IRS. So Snickers wants you to make sure you're not doing your taxes on an empty stomach.
In the latest from the "You're Not You When You're Hungry Campaign," BBDO New York presents a faux documentary about an Arizona woman who expanded the scope of typical business deductions. Eating a Snickers bar helped the woman continue to work in the evening, so she recorded the purchase on her taxes.
The deduction was promptly rejected by the IRS, but she found justice eventually. Snickers came to her door with a check for the full amount of the candy bar: $.89.
The film was directed by Evan Bernard.
