AKQA is responsible for designging the first US iPad app for the World Wildlife Fund, WWF Together. The interactive experience centers on eight different animals initially, with new species planned to be added regularly. For each animal, viewers can access editorial content and facts, video, photography and downloadable origami folding instructions. Users can wipe sea ice to reveal polar bear facts, chop the panda's bamboo, and access the device's camera to simulate tiger vision. They can also share animated origami videos with friends.
