Cannes hopefuls are gathering around the Palais this week with dreams of winning Lions.
Thousands of advertising creatives are descending upon Cannes, France, this week in the hopes of bringing home a coveted Cannes Lions—perhaps even a Grand Prix, reserved for the most lauded work in a category, as determined by an elite jury.
In a new series we’re premiering this year, we’ll be posting snapshots, taken around town, of many of the creatives behind some of 2023’s top Lion contenders and winners. We’ll also be asking them about their campaigns, why they’re special, other work they’ve admired lately, some pro-tips for surviving Cannes and more.
