Biscuit Signs Seret, Iannacchino Joins Raucous and More

Director Isaiah Seret is joining the commercial roster at Biscuit Filmworks. His work includes the D&AD award-winning "Click, Baby, Click" for Adobe and Intuit's recent QuickBooks Super Bowl spot for Death Wish Coffee. His film "Quarantine," a short prequel to "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes," won a 2015 Webby award. Seret joins Biscuit from Prettybird where he directed commercials for clients including Adidas, Burger King, Comcast XFinity, Adobe, Coca-Cola, Jack Daniels, Microsoft, and Bacardi's Dewar's Scotch. He began his career directing music videos.
Raucous Content, the Hollywood-based production company recently launched by Steve Wi and Phyllis Koenig, has signed director Paul Iannacchino to its roster. His work includes "Where Will Happiness Strike Next?" for Coca-Cola, and Christmas spot "Best Coke Ever," plus campaigns for clients including Pepsi, Gillette, Febreze, Honda and Kia. His Benjamin Moore "Talking Wall" campaign, which brought a speaking version of Fenway Park's "Green Monster" scoreboard wall to the streets of New York City, picked up a Cannes Lion award.
Serial Pictures has added directors Anton Corbijn and Fabien Baron to its roster. Corbijn's films include "Control," following the life of Joy Division's Ian Curtis, "The American," starring George Clooney, and "A Most Wanted Man," one of Phillip Seymour Hoffman's final films. He has directed music videos for the likes of U2, Nirvana, Coldplay, and most recently Arcade Fire's "Reflektor." His first commercial was last year's Miss Dior spot featuring Natalie Portman. Baron is known for his fashion work for Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani, Burberry, Givenchy and Yves Saint Laurent. He directed Calvin Klein's first Super Bowl ad in 2013, and alongside David Fincher, co-created the Calvin Klein "Downtown" campaign featuring Rooney Mara.
Honor Society has signed director Jonathan Yi for U.S. commercial representation. Yi has worked on commericals for brands including American Express, Intel, Skype, Mattel and Wells Fargo. His new feature documentary "Mad Tiger" will launch on March 20 while "Goodnight Brooklyn: The Story of Death By Audio," on which he served as executive producer and director of photography, will debut at SXSW 2016.
Tröll Pictures has added filmmaker Julien Rocher to its directorial roster in L.A.. Rocher has worked with brands including Infiniti, Nissan, Ubisoft, Sony, Nokia, and others. He began his career as a TV editor before transitioning into cinematography and directing for documentaries, developing the skill of underwater filmmaking along the way.
Blink has signed director Martin Garde Abildgaard to its roster. His work includes commercials for BMW, Sony, Vans, Koenigsegg and Adidas. He picked up the Young Directors' Award at the Cannes Lions festival for his short film "Hypoxia" in 2015. Before directing, he was an agency creative director in Copenhagen, then creative director at various international television production companies, Apart from directing film, he is an artist whose mixed media project "America" has toured as a solo exhibition through France, Sweden and Denmark.
Sarah Roebuck has joined Final Cut as executive producer in its New York office. Roebuck was most recently an executive producer at Jump Editorial. She started her career at JWT New York,where she rose to director of integrated production recruiting, and she served in production roles at Radical Media, East Pleasant Pictures and Imaginary Forces.
Entertainment brand consultancy and marketing innovations agency Troika has hired Kasumi Mihori as creative director. Mihori, who joins from Turner Studios in Atlanta, won an Emmy Award for the 25th anniversary title sequence of "Wonderful World of Disney," for which she was responsible for direction, logo design and custom music.
LA-based editorial, sound and post production company Therapy Studios has added editor Steve Prestemon to its team. Prestemon has edited spots for the likes of Mercedes, Samsung and Hyundai, as well as feature documentaries. He has been an editor at Cosmo Street and Whitehouse Post, and is in the final stages of cutting the full-length documentary "Westerly," co-directed by Alan White and Jamie Brisick.
Visual effects house Digital Domain has hired Nicole Fina as executive producer of commercials and Leslie Sorrentino, who will head up new business for commercials. Fina returns to Digital Domain after working at MPC, Method & Psyop. Sorrentino was a founding partner of The Syndicate, Santa Monica, and most recently executive producer at Pixomondo.
Digital studio Reel FX Dallas/Santa Monica has added Steve Nix as general manager of its virtual reality division, Reel FX VR. Prior to joining Reel FX, Nix was CEO and co-founder of Yvolver, a mobile gaming technology developer, acquired by Opera Mediaworks in 2015. His experience in the gaming industry includes digital distribution and game development for id Software, Ritual Entertainment and GameStop.
