Audi’s latest electric vehicle tech is on full display during the carmaker’s Super Bowl LIV spot. The 60-second ad from 72andSunny Amsterdam stars “Game of Thrones” actress and environmental activist Maisie Williams leading a singalong of “Let It Go” through the smoggy streets of Los Angeles. She sings the “Frozen” tune from behind the wheel of an all-electric Audi e-tron SUV, which first appeared in last year’s Super Bowl spot in the form of a GT concept car.
“Let’s drive to a more sustainable future,” appears at the end of the fourth-quarter ad, cementing the automaker’s eco-friendly message. Audi has previously committed to making at least one-third of its new vehicle models fully electric by 2025.
This year’s game marks the first time in recent memory that the German auto brand’s Super Bowl commercial was not handled by Venables Bell & Partners, Audi’s go-to agency in the U.S. During last year’s game, the agency went for laughs with its well-received “Cashew” ad.
