Doritos’ celebrity-filled 2019 Super Bowl ad stars Chance the Rapper, the Backstreet Boys and a nacho-themed version of the band’s hit ‘90s song “I Want It That Way.” The first-quarter spot promotes Doritos’ new Flamin’ Hot Nacho flavor—a.k.a., the original chip, now made hot.
Titled “Now It’s Hot,” the 30-second ad was created by Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, which handled PepsiCo’s three 2019 Super Bowl ad buys; the others are for Pepsi and Bubly sparkling water.
All three of PepsiCo’s spots this year featured celebrities, relying especially heavily on famous singers from Michael Bublé to Cardi B.
