Procter & Gamble’s Microban 24 premiered its first Super Bowl ad in 2021, a simple advertisement explaining the long-lasting benefits of the cleaner.
Microban 24 launched in 2020, at the front-end of the pandemic, and boasts the ability to keep surfaces from building up bacteria and germs for 24 hours.
The 15-second commercial stuck to the basics, showing a clock counting how long the sanitizing spray works on surfaces such as a doorknob even when touched throughout the day by multiple people.
The premise was relevant amid the pandemic, as consumers stocked up on cleaning supplies resulting in a shortage of stock.
