The NFL’s Super Bowl LVI commercial, “Bright Down the House,” sees two kids playing a video game that ends up coming to life. The kids witness mini versions of animated football players pour out of their TV screen while chasing after a ball—and while the athletes pretty much destroy the house, they manage to get out in time before the kids’ parents return home in the two-minute spot.
In the previous year’s Super Bowl, the league aired two commercials: one honoring the late coaching legend Vince Lombardi, and the other focused on its social justice initiative “It Takes All of Us.”
Peter Berg directed “Bright Down the House,” which aired just before halftime, for 72andSunny.
